Client Implementation Specialist

Responsible for HRIS implementation across multiple entities and maintaining HRIS subject matter expertise.  In close coordination with clients and other departments within the organization, this person leads our implementation process by coordinating initial data collection, and orienting new clients with their customized HRIS platform.  This role will be filled by an individual who is a resourceful optimist and provides an exemplary level of service to all clients.  This position requires a thorough understanding of payroll practices and employee benefits administration. Ability to skillfully communicate with clients, third party vendors, brokers and internal staff required.  

Position Duties / Essential Job Functions:

  1. Manage new client data collection prior to HRIS implementation
  2. Enter data and troubleshoot issues as part of HRIS implementation
  3. Perform online HRIS training sessions with clients and internal staff
  4. Communicate with other departments to ensure projects are completed on time
  5. Quickly assess the nature of problems, thoroughly understand the expectations of the client and position, and consistently meet and exceed those expectations
  6. Continuously identify systems/process inefficiencies and implement improvements
  7. Identify additional product opportunities and communicate their value to clients
  8. Serve as a resource to Implementation Team regarding client communications and orientation
  9. Passionate and knowledgeable about HR technology and able to pleasantly communicate that knowledge to clients and colleagues 
  10. May be expected to develop expertise in certain areas of payroll, benefits, and timekeeping

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school with minimum of three years of experience in employee benefits or equivalent combination of education and experience 
  2. FPC or CPP preferred
  3. Proven analytical and problem solving skills
  4. Team player who brings innovation, creativity and critical thinking to the team  
  5. Demonstrated project management skills in order to meet client and department deadlines in a timely manner
  6. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  7. Strong presentation skills for online client training
  8. Must be able to manage priorities and consistently meet deadlines
  9. Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service
  10. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including advanced working knowledge of Excel
  11. Understand the functionality and intention of payroll, timekeeping and employee benefits administration systems

This position requires an individual who is service oriented and able to handle many different types of situations with professionalism and with the client's perspective in mind.  This person must be detail-oriented and be able to maintain a high degree of accuracy, urgency and confidentiality.  This person must have a professional appearance (i.e. grooming and dress consistent with our desired corporate image) and effective interaction and collaborative skills.  This person must demonstrate a positive, welcoming and professional manner in person, on the telephone and through email to all customers.  The person is willing and able to research payroll, benefit and/or tax issues and problem solve quickly as well as learn from their research.  This person has the ability to positively handle stress and multiple priorities while completing all tasks within set time constraints. 

Essential Physical / Mental Requirements:

This position typically works in an office environment and not subject to excessive physical demands.  However the ability to sit, answer phones and type for extended periods of time is required.
