Office Administrator/Bookkeeper

TPC Staffing is currently recruiting for and Office Administrator/Bookkeeper for our client in the Madison area. This is a perm position with great benefits and a wide variety of responsibilities to keep things exciting! The Office Administrator/Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing the administrative aspects of the office, including overseeing office maintenance and capital improvements, janitorial service, mail room, copying and storage, and ensuring that the office appearance supports the Company's image. They will create the company newsletter and answer the phones as the first line of communication with customers.

The Office Admin/Bookkeeper will also be responsible for all AP aspects of the business, including approving invoices and posting them to accounting systems. They will audit inventory, check Sales Tax, and process payments. They will conduct financial analysis and other projects for CFO as required.

To be successful in this position, you will need:

• Associates Degree in Accounting or higher preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
• Superior communications skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be proficient in MS Office.
• Possess the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Must be willing and able to some travel and work flexible/extended hours.
