Time and Attendance Client Support Specialist

Position Summary: 

Responsible for providing accurate and timely solutions for our timekeeping software, while going above and beyond in assisting our clients.

 

Position Duties / Essential Job Functions:

  • Providing client timekeeping solutions: (70%)
    1. Answering customer inquiries and concerns, timekeeping questions, software-related troubleshooting, hardware-related troubleshooting, client education, etc. via phone and payroll portal.
    2. Ability to teach internal/external customers to use the timekeeping software.
    3. Accurately setup of Salesforce inbox cases and providing timely responses to clients (all e-mails, faxes, Salesforce.com case documentation and customer support required).
    4. Responding to follow up case related emails from clients or other staff to resolve issues.
  • Assisting timekeeping implementation team with installs (20%)
    1. Building client specific rule sets for timekeeping
    2. Building reports or assisting clients with running time reports
    3. Understanding and setting up accrual policies
  • Assisting clients with payroll processing as it relates to the timekeeping system. (10%)
  • Other projects or duties as set forth by team leader and/or supervisor

Qualifications:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Associates Degree in Accounting or HR preferred.
  3. Payroll and Time and Attendance experience highly preferred.
  4. Proven customer service skills.
  5. Intermediate or Advanced Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel and Word. The ability to learn and use Salesforce.com and iSolved as well as different internet browsers is required.
  6. Effective, professional and customer-focused verbal and written communication skills are required.
  7. Fundamentals of Payroll Certification or CPP certification a plus.
  8. 45 wpm typing and strong 10-key calculator skills required.

This position requires an individual who is service oriented and able to handle many different types of situations with professionalism and with the client's perspective in mind.  This person must be detail-oriented and can maintain a high degree of accuracy, urgency and confidentiality.  This person must have a professional appearance (i.e. grooming and dress consistent with our desired corporate image) and effective interaction and collaborative skills.  This person must demonstrate a positive, welcoming and professional manner in person, on the telephone and through email to all customers.  The person is willing and able to research time keeping system/hardware issues and problem solve quickly as well as learn from their research.  This person can positively handle stress and multiple priorities while completing all tasks within set time constraints.

This position typically works in an office environment and not subject to excessive physical demands.  However, the ability to sit, answer phones and type for extended periods of time is required.
